Heritage JV and Freshman Football vs. Riverside

Last Monday, October 8th, Our freshman and JV football faced the Riverside Rams in a tough game. It was a home game here at Heritage with Freshman playing first at about 5pm and JV playing at about 7pm.

“ We lost because we didn’t practice enough, we needed to practice harder,” Says Sean Robinson a player on the Pride Freshman Football team.

The final score was 8-14 for the freshman.

It was tough start with Riverside scoring the first touchdown of the night and the score being 0-6. JV then caught up taking away the lead with a tight score of 8-6.

Travon Lincoln who plays both JV and Varsity says “We didn’t call the right plays and we weren’t going our fullest. If we would’ve put full effort and called the right plays we could have put more points on the scoreboard.”

JV finished with a score of 8-18 at around 9:10pm.

Though it was a hard loss, it was good fight.
